Prom and my last week of school..

My senior prom was this past saturday, and it was okay to put it simply. It had its fun parts and its not so fun parts. And by the not so fun parts I mean, seeing people that you really just dont like, and peole throwing fits over un-important things. I have to say I really hate it when people make scenes, and this was one of the things that happened that kinda brought down my night. I personally believe that poeple who make scenes cant control themselves or their emotions, which I have to say I dont respect at all. Anyway moving on, I had a wonderful date, and I couldnt have asked for a more perfect person to go with.

Tomorrow is my last day of school, and I have to say I really cant believe it. I havent been at school much this year since I only have one class. So tomorrow which should be such an important day our stupid "senior walk" where all these angsty teenagers will cry about how much their going to miss the place the hate, I wont. And its the truth, im not going to say "im not going to cry" than cry tomorrow, I hold no sentimantal value to the people or the school. Its been a very unimportant part of my life this year, and thats the truth. On the other hand im not going to say I cant wait to leave this stupid place and all these stupid people, high school ruined my life blah blah... to put in good terms im very indifferent about the whole thing. Indifferent sums it up perfectly. My senior year hasnt been that important to me its been a very background thing to me I go to school the days I had my class and that was it, I had more important things going on like getting ready for college and work. And instead of focusing on the "important senior year things" like everyone else, I focused on whats important to me.

Llamas and Soap

I went to the Appalachian festival with my mom Saturday we had a really good time, much better than lest year. We both got a ton of great jewelry, most of its hand made and all of it was reasonably priced I'll have to put up some pictures. And an added plus i got to see llamas (my favorite) and some baby cows, they were so cuteeee. we also bought like ten bars of handmade soap which smells amazing. Hope everyone had a good weekend!

see I have been kinda productive...

A few sketches i worked on the other night. This one is by far my favorite, I loveee it :).

Just to share some good news Im getting promoted at my job, im pretty happy about the whole thing. I'll be getting trained as a manager and be getting a pay raise (which is what really mattered to me). Even though I havent been there a full year me and a few others are the only employees left from when we first opened, this august will be our one year annaversary. Its nice to know that my hard work has payed off and that I dont waste my weekends in vain for nothing. And it makes me feel a little smug because some of the other employees that have at times made me miserable, arent the ones getting the promotion...okay now I just sound mean so I'll just stop :).

On another side note I'm almost done with high school! And I have to say I cant believe its so soon. Graduation and partys are in my new future, and than college! I cant wait. And prom is this month another exciting thing to look forward to. Since I planned on going last year but changed my mind at the last minute im wearing the dress I bought last year, which im perfectly happy with. Im going with my friend Nick, and i know were going to have such a good time together :). And i promise to put up pictures.
